Autoptic 2018 Creative Fitness Summit
Dayton YMCA at Gaviidae
651 Nicollet Mall
Minneapolis, MN 55402
The Autoptic festival is collaborating to bring artists into a fitness setting! Join us Friday at the Downtown YMCA's Powerhouse studio for an hour of functional fitness instruction in a group setting. All skill levels and body types are welcome to workout with special instruction by cartoonist and personal trainer M.S. Harkness.
This is a free event, specifically programmed to address the unique needs for artist's bodies. Attendees are encouraged to work at their own pace and ask questions regarding fitness for creative people. There are onsite showers and all-gender family style changing areas. Attendees should wear clothes they feel comfortable exercising in, there is no required equipment.
M.S. Harkness is a certified Personal Trainer with the National Academy of Sports Medicine and a level 1 sports performance coach with USA Weightlifting. She is a special guest at Autoptic and her book Tinderella is published with Kilgore Books.
